Uses the Korean lunar calendar of the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (through 2050). If that month has no 30th day, the 29th is used.
What a jibang is
A jibang is a paper tablet written for a Korean ancestral rite (jesa) in place of a permanent wooden tablet. The wording depends on the relationship: a father is 顯考學生府君神位, a mother 顯妣孺人金海金氏神位, where 金海金氏 is her clan seat and surname. Women are recorded by clan seat and surname rather than by given name. A wife's tablet starts with 亡室 instead of 顯, and tablets for younger relatives start with 亡.
How to use it
Choose whose tablet it is. For women, enter the clan seat and surname; the sixty most common clan seats fill in their Hanja automatically. For a couple, both are written on one sheet with the man on the left as you face it. Print at real size, 22 cm by 6 cm by default, or save a 300 dpi image to print elsewhere. Enter the lunar date of death to see this year's solar date for the rite. Wording differs between sources for some relatives, and the page notes those differences.
