Korean gift money envelopes carry a short phrase down the middle of the front: 祝結婚 (congratulations on your wedding) or 祝華婚 for weddings, 賻儀 (condolence gift) or 謹弔 for funerals, 祝壽宴 for a 60th or later birthday, 祈快癒 for get-well wishes. The giver writes their name vertically on the back, lower left, with a company or group name to its right. The amount goes on a separate insert, not on the envelope.
How to use
Pick the occasion and wording, then type the sender's name. Make it from A4 prints a fold-up envelope: cut the solid line, fold the dotted lines, and the name lands on the back, readable. Store-bought envelope prints the front and back at real size so you can trace them or feed the envelope into your printer. The rules follow the National Institute of Korean Language's guide to standard etiquette (2011).
