What PAI is
Vietnam's Immigration Department began piloting the Pre-Arrival Information (PAI) system at Tan Son Nhat airport on 15 April 2026, and has extended it to more airports. Travellers submit passport, visa and travel details within three days before arrival and receive a QR code to show at immigration. During the pilot it was described as optional. Dates use DD/MM/YYYY, the full name is a single field, and the phone number is entered with the +82 country code chosen separately. Most failed submissions were due to wrong flight numbers or booking references. This page prepares the values; it is not the official site. Information as of 29 September 2026.
